LAPADA, the largest association of professional art and antiques dealers in the UK, and Country Life Magazine are partnering for the fourth year to present the COUNTRY LIFE - LAPADA Object of the Year competition 2012. Through this competition the Association aims to illustrate the breadth and depth of its members' expertise and to show visitors to this site a tempting selection of some of their finest pieces.

Berganza's entry is a spectacular automated sarpech (turban) brooch attributed to Garrard of London, which once belonged to the Maharajas of Indore.
