 Description

Edwardian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.74 carats in an open back claw setting, surrounded by twelve cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings, with a combined weight of 1.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.82 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster design, featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to raised inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail, and flowing through to a solid D-shaped shank. Marked 18-carat yellow gold, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2239221258.
