Set centrally with one oval old cutnatural unenhanced pink sapphire in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 1.31 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old minediamonds in similar settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats, enriched by six round rose cut diamonds in open and closed backgrain settings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.40 carats, to a beautiful carved gallery with stylised scrolling motifs and intricate backholing, tapering ornate shoulders leading through to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900.
