Edwardian diamond solitaire ring. Set with a round old cut diamond, D colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.69 carats, in an open back claw setting, to a pierced collet with circular backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering shoulders with cheniers and continuing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with platinum settings, English, circa 1905, accompanied by GIA report #1186092604.
