Edwardian diamond solitaire ring. Set with a single round old cut diamond, D colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.69 carats, in an open back claw setting, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery with circular backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail and flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with platinum settings, English, circa 1905, accompanied by GIA report #1186092604.
