Should your piece be in need of any repair work, our specialist antique workshop can help and we offer restoration services exclusively on pieces purchased from Berganza.

Our workshop consists of highly skilled artisans, each specialising in different areas of jewellery making. From mounters, gemstone setters, and polishers, to those trained in the dying arts of lapidary, enamelling and hand-engraving, you can rest assured that your piece will be lovingly restored and returned to you in excellent condition.

Our long standing history in the jewellery trade and intimate understanding of the intricacies of antique and vintage jewellery are second to none, making our workshop uniquely placed to offer the most comprehensive and high quality service.

Each piece we acquire for our collection is restored before put up for sale to ensure it is in a good and wearable condition.

Should repair work to your piece be required within the first year of purchase and there are no indications of damage, we will repair your piece free of charge.

The repair process

We encourage you to book an appointment on our website, where you can select a date and time that is convenient for you to bring your piece to the showroom. Our jewellery experts can then assess your piece to see what repair work is required.
Thereafter, we will send it to our specialist workshop for a quote.
Our workshop will send a detailed outline of what they propose to do to restore/repair your piece via email within 1-2 weeks of your initial appointment, along with a quote.
To go ahead, a 50% deposit is required which can be paid through the web link sent to you in the repair quote. Please note that repairs can often be claimed on insurance.
All repairs are done by hand in our specialist workshop by skilled craftsmen using the traditional techniques. Repairs take approximately 5-6 weeks to complete from receipt of a 50% deposit.
We will contact you the moment your ring is ready for collection.
For complex repairs, such as those requiring highly specialised techniques such as enamelling, or where we are required to source a diamond or gemstone, the time frame may be extended.
