Natural pearl and diamond crossover ring. Set with a round natural saltwater pearl, approximately 4.8mm x 4.9mm, in a open back half drilled setting, set diagonally with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, additionally set with ten round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.80 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring millegrain edging, smooth edges and ornate backholing, flanked by scrolling shoulders which flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910.
