Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural no heat Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.49 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.70 carats, to an impressive three stone design featuring curving claws, a intricately pierced gallery and round open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering raised shoulders with chenier detail which flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910.
