Description

Diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a single rectangular step cut diamond, E colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.24 carats in an open back rubover setting, flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, further adorned with six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.80 carats, to an angular flanked solitaire design featuring polished linear edges, a structurally pierced gallery and open geometric backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2205775066.
