Ruby and diamond marquise cluster ring. Set with ten rectangular baguette cut natural unenhanced rubies to centre in open back rubover millegrain channel settings with an approximate total weight of 2.00 carats, encompassed by a row of round old cut diamonds, further diamonds to shoulders, all twenty six in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.50 carats, to a marquise shape cluster with a finely pierced gallery and intricate backholing, flowing through to a solid ridged D-shape shank. Mounted and set in yellow gold and platinum, French, circa 1920.
