Medieval engraved gold amethyst ring. Set centrally with a crescent shaped amethyst in a closed back rubover collet setting, to a 'pie-dish' bezel and leading down to a slim flat shank with ornate engraved scrolling detailing throughout, approximately 1.8mm in width. Tested yellow gold, approximately 1g in weight, circa 14th-15th century.
