Edwardian diamond solitaire engagement ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond, J colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 1.38 carats, in an open back claw setting, set to either side with six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.44 carats, to a elegant shape collet featuring fine pierced open work, intricate claws and fancy shaped backholing, the raised squared shoulders are supported by delicate chenier details and smooth to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold with platinum settings, English, circa 1910, accompanied by HRD Antwerp report #16036530006.
