Art Deco Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set centrally with a cushion shape double brilliant natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.10 carats, flanked by two square baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats and encircled by fourteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.62 carats, to a cluster design featuring polished edges, an decoratively pierced gallery with scrolling detail and open backholing, leading to smoothly conforming shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81285-54.
