Old Mine diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to center with one cushion old mine diamond in open back double claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, flanked by twenty eight natural round eight cut diamonds in grain and rubover settings with an combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.10 carats to an impressive flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricate woven gallery and round open backholing, flowing through to raised engraved shoulders and leading to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and iridium, American, circa 1940.
