Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with an octagonal Asscher cut diamond, J colour, VS1 clarity, with a weight of 2.65 carats in an open back claw setting, surrounded twenty-eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.28 carats, further adorned by one hundred and four mixed old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.75 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.68 carats, to an impressive cluster design design featuring millegrain borders throughout, a diamond-set gallery and intricate open backholing, the integrated shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America report #2235907012.
