 Description

Royal Blue Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.75 carats, flanked by two arrow shape tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.60 carats, to an impressive flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a pierced linear gallery and fancy open backholing, tapering inward at the shoulders and flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by C.Dunaigre Switzerland report #CDC1410639 stating 'Royal Blue' and American Gemological Laboratories report #CS64419.
