 Description

Edwardian diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with one round old cut diamond, H colour, VS2 clarity with a weight of 0.91 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds, one G colour, VS1 clarity with a weight of 0.57 carats, the other H colour, I1 clarity with a weight of 0.72 carats, all in open back claw settings. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.20 carats, to an elegant graduated three stone design featuring split curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and open circular backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) reports #6224304688, #1236166847 and #2235166850.
