Set to centre with a round transitional cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.55 carats, flanked by two round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.70 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.25 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and round open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1940.
