Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.40 carats, in an open back claw setting, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 2.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.40 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular open backholing, leading to slightly trumpeting shoulders with ridge detail that flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, early 20th Century.
