Vintage Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.77 carats, surrounded and flanked by eighteen round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.80 carats, to an elegantly raised coronet cluster, featuring curving corner claws, a finely pierced gallery and shaped open backholing, flanked by split trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid ribbed shank. Marked platinum, maker's mark 'RP' with a sack in the middle of the two letters, French, circa 1960, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-6963.
