Vintage diamond ring with a pair of matching diamond bands. Set to centre with one round old cut diamond, J colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.15 carats in an open back four claw setting, flanked by two horizontally set tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings, and accompanied by two matching bands, set with four tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings, all six with a combined weight of 0.40 carats and two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in similar settings with a combined weight of 0.25 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.80 carats, to a coordinating set of three rings, with openwork galleries, pierced backholing and smoothly conforming shoulders leading into slim D-shaped shanks. Marked 14 carat white gold, English, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-3882.
