 Description

Chaumet Burmese ruby and diamond cluster ring. Set with six oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.50 carats, further set with eight round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.44 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring curving claws, a structural open gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to a-symmetric split shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked platinum and yellow gold, signed 'Chaumet', indisctinct maker's mark, French import marks, circa 1960, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81313-10.
