 Description

Art Deco flanked solitaire step cut diamond ring. Set with one rectangular step cut diamond, J colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 3.52 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by six stepped horizontally set rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.34 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.86 carats, to an impressive structured linear design with a fancy openwork gallery and shaped open backholing, the simple trumpeting shoulders flow through to a solid D-shaped shank. Marked platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America report (GIA) #6203104661.
