Art Deco Burmese sapphire and diamond flanked solitaire ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural no heat Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.78 carats, bordered by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, further flanked by four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.60 carats, to an impressive flanked solitaire design featuring curved claws, a pierced geometric gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with engraved detail, flowing through to a smooth solid shank.
