Aquamarine and diamond solitaire ring. Set to center with an octagonal emerald cut natural aquamarine in open back claw settings with an approximate weight of 38.65 carats, flanked by twelve round eight cut diamonds in closed back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.24 carats, to an impressive solitaire ring featuring split triple claws, an intricately pierced gallery with floral motifs and square open and closed backholing, with trumpeting wirework shoulders which flow through to a solid ridged D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1980.
