 Description

Ceylon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape double brilliant cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 3.01 carats, encircled by a single row of sixteen round old single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.60 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring polished edging, a pierced linear gallery and open backholing, the elegant inward tapering shoulders flowing to a solid ribbed shank. Tested platinum, circa 1940, accompanied by Swiss Gemological Institute (SSEF) report #137019.
