Natural Burmese sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape double brilliant cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 3.01 carats, encircled by a single row of sixteen round old single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.60 carats, all supported by an intricate outward sprayed basketed openwork gallery with open backholing and elegant inward tapered shoulders, flowing to a solid ribbed shank.
