Set to center with one rectangular emerald with minor oil in an setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 , encircled by eighteen round in open back and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.90 carats, further flanked by six round transitional cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total combined approximate diamond weight is 1.02 carats, to an impressive design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced and rounded open backholing leading to solid and flowing through to a solid carved . , 1940, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report number #5786-3447.

Emeralds from the old mines of Colombia are known for their incredible clarity, a rare and sought after characteristic amongst emeralds. Though natural inclusions which are visible to the naked eye are expected in Emeralds, this emerald is particularly remarkable as few to no inclusions can be seen by the naked eye. This exceptional clarity makes this piece particularly rare amongst emeralds and is a testament of the fine quality material produced by the now long depleted old mines of Colombia.
