Ornate old cut diamond cluster ring by J E Caldwell. Set vertically to the centre with three round old cut diamonds in open back rubover settings and two further round old cut diamonds to the sides in open back grain settings, the five with a combined weight of 2.30 carats, interspersed with six round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.45 carats, all set to a structured form with intricate pierced metal work, ornate foliate engraving and fine millegrain wire work, the shoulders taper to a solid slim shank.
