Edwardian Colombian emerald and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor oil, in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.85 carats, flanked to top and bottom by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, further decorated with twenty cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.60 carats, all to an ornate vertical three stone design featuring decorative openwork with polished edges, a pierced gallery and fancy shaped open backholing, leading to decorative tri-split shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5786-0548.
