Set to centre with one oval old cutnatural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open backrubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, encircled by twelve cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats , flanked by six cushion shape old mine diamonds with an combined weight of 0.18 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.38 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring millegrain borders, a decoratively pierced openwork gallery and open backholing, leading to slightly raised diamond set shoulders with millegrain edges flowing through to a solid flat shank. Testedplatinum and yellow gold, English, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79234-76.
