Set with an oval old cut garnet in a closed backrubovercollet setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, engraved to the bezel in script 'TA', flanked by carved shoulders of intricate floral rosettes, tapering down the conforming band to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold, Scotland, approximate weight 2.87g, circa 18th century AD.
