Set to centre with a oval cabochon natural unenhanced cat's eye chrysoberyl in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight of 4.00 carats, encircled by a single row of sixteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring millegrain edging, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by openwork trumpeting shoulders flowing down to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1910.
