Sapphire and Diamond Cluster ring. Centrally set with a marquise shape cabochon cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, surrounded by a single row of fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.42 carats and further set with six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.18 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.60 carats, to an elegant marquise shape cluster design featuring scalloped borders, a decoratively pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders which flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services Report #5785-0663.
