Art Deco diamond clip brooch. Set with two curving channel set rows of rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings, all eight with a combined weight of 0.40 carats, forty round old cut diamonds in open back grain and millegrain settings with a combined weight of 2.25 carats, and two round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.02 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.67 carats, to an elegant tapered clip brooch with linear millegrain openwork and sculpted curving bezels, intricate pierced backholing and secure hinged flip fitting with pins to reverse. Tested white gold and platinum, circa 1930.
