 Description

Victorian ruby and diamond seven stone ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.55 carats, further set with four cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to a seven stone design featuring smooth edges, a polished gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to integrated shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'M&M', full hallmarks for Birmingham, English, 1888.
