Art Deco diamond and emerald ring. Set to center with one square French cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.55 carats, flanked by two natural square step cut emeralds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, and adorned by eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats, and further set with eight round rose cut diamonds in openback grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total combined approximate diamond weight is 2.05 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring polished edges, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing flowing through to pierced shoulders and leading through to a solid ridge shank. Marked platinum, engraved 'depose', French, circa 1930, accompanied by original antique box.
