Edwardian Sapphire and diamond coronet cluster. Set with one oval mixed natural no heat sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, surrounded by fourteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.35 carats, flanked by four round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.45 carats to an elegant coronet cluster with scalloped edges and millegrain details, an intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier details and following through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18K yellow gold and platinum, numbered '7863', circa 1910.

The ring has been assessed by our in house gemmologist. The centre stone is natural no heat sapphire likely to originate from old mines of Burma.
