Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.72 carats, further set with two round transitional cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, further decorated with two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back part-rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.16 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.16 carats to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an open geometric gallery and fancy open backholing, the diamond set shoulders flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum and iridium, American, circa 1960, accompanied by American Gemological Laboratories (AGL) report #1143812.

Victorian Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.15 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, decorated with six cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.42 carats, to a impressive three stone deisgn featuring curving double claws, an ornately carved gallery with scrolling motifs and open backholing, leading to carved shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1890, accompanied by American Gemological Laboratories report #1135484.
