Belle Époque sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with one oval old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.50 carats, encircled by twelve cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.00 carats , to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring millegrain borders, a decoratively pierced openwork gallery and open backholing, leading to slightly raised inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, French, circa 1915.
