Set to centre with an oval cabochon white opal with an approximate weight of 4.00 carats in an open back claw setting, encircled by a single row of twelve round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.80 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring millegrain edges, an ornately pierced scrolling gallery and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders with chenier detail which flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum and tested yellow gold, circa 1950.
