Oscar Heyman Brothers Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. Horizontally set to centre with seven square step cut diamonds in open back channel settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.05 carats, further set with twenty rectangular baguette cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, further adorned with twenty round brilliant cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.36 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.41 carats, to a striking five row design featuring a stepped bezel, polished edges and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting geometric shoulders flowing down to a solid tapering flat shank. Tested platinum and iridium, numbered '27392' and '11', American, circa 1935.
