Set to centre with an oval unenhanced ruby in an setting with an approximate weight of 0.75 , flanked by sixteen square natural unenhanced Burmese in open back settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats, and further set with twenty round old cut in open back settings with a combined weight of 1.10 carats. The total approximate ruby weight is 1.55 carats to an impressive design featuring polished edges, shaped open backholing and integrated flowing through to a solid flat tapering . yellow and , signed 'Mellerio dits Meller’, numbered 'G25.B', indistinct , French, 1945.
