 Description

French cut diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set with one square, french cut diamond, J colour, SI2 clarity, with a weight of 1.07 carats, in an open back claw setting, flanked by two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.18 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.25 carats, to a geometric flanked solitaire design featuring angular corner claws, a geometric pierced gallery and open square backholding, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shaped shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1940, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2225377192.
