Edwardian diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, I colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.10 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by six round eight-cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.12 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.22 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2486372759.
