 Description

Edwardian sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Centrally set with one cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back millegrain rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats, encircled by fourteen round old cut diamonds in open back millegrain rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.70 carats, further set with four round eight cut diamonds in open back millegrain rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.04 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.74 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design with pierced scalloped gallery and fancy shaped backholing, flanked by chamfered shoulders flowing through to a slim shank. Marked platinum, inscribed indistinctly to the interior, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79177-39.
