 Description

Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.18 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.75 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving split claws, a decoratively pierced gallery and open circular backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders with chenier detail and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-3390.
