Set to centre with a round diamond in an setting with an approximate weight of 1.25 , in an open back , flanked by two round old cut in open back with a combined weight of 2.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.25 carats, to an elegant graduating three stone design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced and circular open backholing, leading to inwardly tapering with detail which flow through to a solid . yellow and , 1910.

The round old cut, sometimes referred to as the old European cut, originated in the late 19th century as a result of two major events that changed the course of stone cutting forever. Characterised by its round outline, small table and high crown, it evolved from the cushion old mine cut which had been popular since the 18th century.
