No oil Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with an oval mixed cut natural Colombian emerald, with no oil, in an open back claw setting with a weight of 9.65 carats, further set with twenty four drop shape brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 4.20 carats, and decorated with eight round brilliant cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 5.00 carats, to an impressive cluster design featuring split curving claws, a pierced structural gallery and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Tested white gold and yellow gold, maker's mark 'B J', circa 1970, accompanied by Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF) report #123840, and Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-2276.
