 Description

Burmese sapphire and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.80 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, to an elegant three stone design featuring curving claws, an ornately carved gallery and fancy open backholing, the integrated shoulders with scrolling motifs flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested rose gold, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-1824.

This sapphire has been assessed by Gemmologial Certification Services (GCS) as being likely Burmese in origin, report #5784-1824.
