Burmeseruby and diamond five stone ring. Horizontally set with three cushion shape old cutnatural no heat Burmese rubies, in open backclaw settings with an approximate total weight of 1.33 carats, further set with two cushion shape old minediamonds with a combined approximate weight of 0.75 carats, further adorned with eight round eight cut diamonds in closed backrubover settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.83 carats to an impressive carved ring featuring curving claws, a solid gallery featuring engraving, and circular open backholing, flanked by intricately carved shoulders leading through to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold, engraved "L.P.Aug.08.", English, circa 1890, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-3224.
