 Description

Bailey, Banks & Biddle cabochon sapphire and diamond ring. Set to the centre with a sugarloaf cabochon natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.80 carats, flanked by six square baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover channel settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, to a flanked solitaire design featuring polished edges, a smooth gallery, and intricate open backholing, leading to broad integrated shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, maker's mark 'BBB' for Bailey Banks and Biddle, numbered '63365', American, circa 1930, accompanied by Gem & Pearl Lab report #06709, and Gemmological Certification Services report #5784-0459.
